Administrative & Accounting Assistant
Effectively handle all front desk duties including the telephone switch board, mail and reception area, and successfully support the Accounting Department and administrative activities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all receptionist duties and mail activities, and maintain a variety of office supplies for general use
- Support the Accounting Group with specific tasks and provide backup to A/P staff as needed
- Manage all electronic and A/P filing
- Provide administrative support to other staff members
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma plus 2 years of college or comparable job related experience
- Skilled with front desk duties, data entry, A/P accounting
- Good typing skills
- Able to perform business math calculations
- Adept in use of MS office, particularly Outlook, Xcel and Word
- Experience with office scanning and accounting (preferably SAP) software
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast paced environment
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate in person and on the phone
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain composure in demanding situations
- Strong time management skills and flexibility to adjust schedule if needed
- Must be able to abide by deadlines and multiple demands
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
