Electrical Technician

Job Description

Seeking an experienced electrical technician. Must be able to analyze upcoming designs and research components for recommendation. Must be able to create wiring solutions for new projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly of standalone devices into a system configuration

  • Inspect parts/assemblies for defects

  • Perform advance wire harnessing to/from electrical panels

  • Able to wire advance circuits in electrical cabinets, create complex wiring harnesses

  • Proficient in machining and pneumatics

  • Perform advance system troubleshooting

  • Support the designing of system drawings

Hot Press Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Press Operators must carefully follow instructions, and have strong hand eye coordination and the ability to multi-task. Must be able to quickly and safely operate hot equipment while wearing provided safety sleeves. Must be able to handle continuous heavy lifting to feed press and remove product.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly lift/and or move up to 50 lbs

  • Load material into appropriate machinery

  • Climb, push, or pull items. (Hoists, lifts, and other equipment will be available for assistance when needed)

Remain active throughout shift, operating mixing equipment and lifting heavy material. Must have open shift availability due to flexible production demands.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Able to run all mixing equipment

  • Issue all materials to orders

  • Use production orders and formula sheets. Monitor equipment of blenders

  • 5S Cleanliness of work area

  • Ensure participation and cooperation in company implemented ESHA programs. Follow all company safety rules

Other Functions

  • Transfer blended material into specified containers

  • Use appropriate handling equipment to load machines and move finished material.

  • Cross-train in blending functions within the area

  • Maintain necessary logs, data or reports.

Under general supervision the machine operator performs essential duties to ensure that parts are machined to the proper specifications. Candidate may also work closely with the Engineering and Assembly personnel to assist in process trouble-shooting as well as evaluate the quality of the finished product.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews set up documents and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions

  • Reads complex blueprints, bill of materials and other specifications to determine product requirements

  • Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools

  • Selects fixtures, part holding, and tooling to machine parts as necessary

  • Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change cutters to machine parts according to specifications

  • Confirms conformance of finished work to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and gauges

  • Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies and initiates program changes when required

  • Perform other related duties as assigned
