Law Firm Receptionist

Job Description

Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the law firm staff. Handle phone calls, messages, scanning, filing, and other duties as assigned. Polite, friendly, presentable, and efficient.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide primary phone coverage during business hours
  • Answer incoming calls, triage and direct callers to the appropriate personnel
  • Take and forward messages to appropriate personnel
  • Welcome clients/visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone
  • Answer or refer inquiries to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support such as: scanning, filing (electronic and hardcopy), opening/distributing mail, supply organizing, etc. as needed
  • Perform assigned tasks within practice management software, as instructed
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform any and all task/duties assigned
