Auto body painter needed to prepare vehicles to be painted, and apply paint coats for touch-up repairs. Must communicate with clients, employers and other employees to plan and execute repair and painting jobs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks and buses. Knowledge of specialty painting techniques given preferred consideration.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to lift/and or move up to 50 lbs
  • Remove rust and other debris from surfaces to be painted
  • Fill cavities and dents in vehicles to create an even surface
  • Mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination
  • Select proper colors and substances for the project
  • Use paint sprayers and brushes to apply pain to a vehicle, determining the necessary application of paint for a thorough coat
  • Check for runs and sags in paint to ensure a quality product

Rack/unrack parts for chemical treatment while maintaining quality. Requires dexterity, attention to detail, and speed. Full-time first-shift position, with some overtime on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Select racks/baskets according to size, shape, and number of parts

  • Use wire or clips to secure parts to racks

Operate multi-spindle lathe type screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms to machine metal bar stock by performing the following:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be machined, and tooling instructions such as cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts, and cutting tools to be used.
  • Positions and secures specified collets, bushings, and stock pushers onto stock feeding mechanism and loads bar stock into feeding mechanism.
  • Installs and adjusts specified cams, gears and stops to control stock and tool movements at each station.
  • Positions and secures tools in tool holders.
  • Sets cutting speeds and feed rates.

Under general supervision the CNC Programmer performs essential duties to ensure that parts are machined to the proper specifications. A Robotic Welding Technician is responsible for increasing company profitability and maintaining employee working conditions by providing manufacturing departments with well-maintained equipment, while ensuring quality and ability to meet production requirements.

  • Set-up and teach robots as required
